Hi Emily ❤️
Thank you for your quick and very lovely response (sorry for my slow one! 🙈) So glad to hear you are near the end of your treatment 😁 and that you have found some fabulous friends (though sorry to find there are a few of us in the same crappy boat! 🙄)
Would love to chat more. Am I ok to add you on Facebook?
Love Alison xx
Hi Alison ❤️
I was treated up at Wigan too. They are an absolutely amazing group of people! I finished chemo 28th December and I'm now having radiotherapy which is due to finish 18th February. I am more than happy to meet up with you. I've actually been up at the ward today (they can't get rid of me ha!) I've also met some amazing ladies who are roughly our age too so if you ever wanted a mini meet up then I'm sure we can sort something out 😁 2 of us are triple negative and the other lady is hormone positive (I always forget which one though 🙈)
Have you got Facebook or WhatsApp? I'm more than happy to chat to you about anything. If you have any worries, concerns, you want a rant or even just a chat about the colour of the sky!
Love to you and yours
I know this is an old post but just in case you still see it!
I am 32, a mum of two and live in Wigan. I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer in November. I am currently halfway through chemo (I go to the cancer care centre at Wigan, do you?). Then this will be followed by surgery.
It would be nice to chat to local ladies my age who are going through similar. Like you I am lucky to have a fantastic group of family and friends who have been amazing. But it would be nice to talk to people who are going through this experience too.
Love and PMA ❤️
Hi Emily just fought I would replied I haven't been diagnosed only just referred by docs got my appointment 4th dec I'm from Leigh. Feel alone as like u same my mates and family are great but they can't understand what I'm thinking or going through xx
Morning Liz, I hope your well. How are you feeling about your results? I hope your alright. If you need to chat or anything please let me know! I've been in your shoes with the waiting game and it's a difficult time xxx

I know you have posted on the Younger Women section but I just wanted to say hello and welcome to the forum, not really a place any of us would want to be but it is a place where you will get loads of help and support from the wonderful ladies on here who know exactly what you are going through and get you.
Sending you hugs
So my names Emily, I'm 28 and from a little town called Wigan. I was diagnosed in July with stage 1 grade 3 triple negative breast cancer. Since my diagnosis I've had such an amazing support network with my family and friends but somehow can't help but feel like I'm massively alone at times. With my town being small the amount of women who are my age that are diagnosed is few and far between (not that I wish this upon anyone!) however I'm yet to meet anyone who I can 100% relate to.
I'd love to chat to others with the possibility of a meet up at some point in the future as even though my friends are an awesome group of people I'd love to make some new ones who know exactly what I'm going through. There's only so many times people can say "it'll be ok" to me!
Would love to hear from you lovely bunch 😊
Love and positive vibes
Your lobsided warrior friend
