Secondary Breast Cancer Patient National Survey by Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now
You may well have seen on social media this weekend that Breast Cancer care and Breast Cancer Now have launched a survey for those with a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer. I’m writing to you to ask if you can try and promote the survey so we have as many responses as possible.
The findings will help us to campaign for better healthcare and support for people affected by secondary breast cancer. The team have worked with a group of approx 30 people with SBC to put the survey together, and its detailed nature is a result of their discussions and requests, helping us to understand better than ever before more about what is needed to help us to address the quality, and inequalities, of healthcare and support for patients with secondary breast cancer.
The link to the survey: http://www.myonlinesurvey.co.uk/BC19DMGS/ . Attached are posters and cards we ask you to print off to give to your patients and display in clinics and wards for them to see. The survey is open for 8 weeks.
Please share this information with your teams too, so as many people with SBC have the opportunity to have their say.
