Hormonal breast pain, before period, on one side only

I'm just bumping this back up again, hoping someone might have been experiencing the same. Week before my period I now only get the usual 'water retention' breast pain in the untreated side. Anyone else ?

Hiyer Sue,

Thanks for your reply. No, I'm not on hormone treatment anymore, I am also pre-menopausal and still having periods. I just have the hormonal breast pain in my untreated (good side) which just seems odd to me.

Hormonal breast pain on one side only

I was so entirely unsure where to place this post, as the topic seems odd and unsual to me. I am still having periods, though very definitely heading to 'the change' with all symptoms and now 50 years old. The last few months I have gone back to having swollen heavy painful breasts as I had in earlier reproductive years. It is definitely hormonal, and goes after a period starts - however - I used the word BREASTS and actually its in the singular. I only get those symptoms on the side that wasn't treated. Is this something that anyone else can relate to, might it be the radiotherapy that means the other side doesn't respond the same as the other side? Its not a problem perse, but it just seems a bit odd and feeling a little jittery about it.

Many thanks
