zoladex

I've been on zoladex for two years now and mine is very rigidly given every 28 days – with the smallest of give or take windows of about two days. I've not heard of it being given in three monthly jabs for breast cancer, though do know this is the case for people with endometriosis, so could well be possible.

Re: zoladex and getting repeat prescriptions.

Hi I started three monthly injections after having the monthly ones for 3 months. Once the nurse was confident that I was Ok on Zoladex she suggested switching to 3 monthly ones. I have had 3 of these now with no problems. J x

zoladex and getting repeat prescriptions.

I want to travel a lot, and had my first zoladex injection last week, however I am away when the next one is due, which is a right pain.  I have found a way around it this time.

But I was told that you couldnt get this on repeat prescriptions only one month at a time, and I want to go off travelling for the winter.   I have heard others mention 3 monthly injections, but I thought that was only for prostate cancer.    How many of you are on 3 monthly ones, and if monthly ones does anyone get two or three months at a time, rather than going to the surgery or hospital every 28 days.
