Hi Hester 77. I was diagnosed with lung mets 4 and half years ago and still working full time and live a full active life. Off to Canada for New Year and looking forward to 2018. All the best on Zoladex and Aromasin.xx

thanks for sharing, it means a lot.
this forum is a lifeline but i know i use it in times of need and when im not i tend to do other stuff. i think this is the same for many, meaning that there are fewer good news stories. this exactly how it should be and good luck to all who are getting on with a normal life but it is reassuring when people take the time to check in and show us the light and where we are aiming for.

What great news - on all counts :-) I remember your story only too well as we came on here about the same time and I'm soooo pleased everything is going well for you. Keep living life to the full.

That is really wonderful news to hear your NED and long may it continue.
I would just like to say a big Thankyou for posting as we do not hear enough positive stories like yours and would like to add that I think you are an inspirational woman, it is heart warming to think you are happy and fulfilled after everything you say you have been through.
I think a lot of people will be inspired by what you have said.

Hi Anne, You have given me the boost I needed, I was Dx on 24th Feb with IBC and lung mets at the same time, I was shocked to say the least, Its hard dealing with IBC never mind the secondaries.I see the ONC on tuesday, starting chemo soon but thats as far into the future that I allow myself to see, I am so glad to hear your doing so well , maybe there's hope for me too. Thankyou.
