Lovely to hear from you but sorry you are having problems with your sleep again.  I always the people in the North, when I lived in Manchester and Warrington, so very friendly and welcoming.

Re: Progesterone, assorted other hormones and fluffy cake

Hi  My Lovely Fluffs,

Sorry been off radar a while, but have checked in occasionally to read up on yers.

Claireee - Am so glad your various tests/checks went well - Whoo bl**dy Hoo gal.

Sorry to all others, but Rubes, you've been on my mind the last two days, on two counts. Was chatting with a lovely lady today in the Coop, from Salisbury, up here visiting her son. Said she loves that when she comes up here, people she doesn't know talk to her in the shops (peeps like me!! to anyone and back, hey) and when passing in the street. Anyway, we had a good chat about fair Salisbury, with a mention of the Haunch of Venison pub. Second to you, I was watching Noel Fitzpatricks "Super(duperflippinfantastic)vet" last night. Is it you or Charys that has a Maine **bleep** pussycat? He was saying they are his most favourite breed of cat - beautiful, intelligent and calm natured. Just like their owners - Ha ha hee, I just added that for some brownie points!!!

Dizzy - How was your hol?? You all have a good time? I don't remember you saying much about it. Hope I didn't munch too much of your greeneries

Am struggling with sleep patterns and all sorts again. Hands are becoming more of a ####### pain.  But just wanted to let you know I do love and think about yers, even when I'm not around.

Loads of lovey dovey kisses and all that "fluffy wuffy stuff" to everyone.

Evening lovelies
It's been a lovely sunny day here today I'm hoping it's here to stay for a while 😁 Helena I can't wait to put some washing on the line there's nothing like line dried washing especially bedding. Xxxx
I'm really looking forward to the easter holiday and spending time with the family 🐰🐣 work is getting quite stressful as the new teacher keeps trying to put more and more responsibilities on me and I've already had to put her straight several times and she doesn't listen she even complained to another member of staff that I was late on Monday when I don't even work on Monday and she'd put me on the planning!!!
It's very nice to be wanted but really 😂 Anyway 2 more days and it's dressing up day and trip to the park tomorrow , Easter egg hunt on Friday so all fun and games love and hugs to you all xxxxx
Lesley & Beth hope your both doing ok xxxx

Re: Progesterone, assorted other hormones and fluffy cake

Hello fluffies, a beautiful sunny day here too Helena, but pretty cold.  I've been to cathedral to do some graffiti research, which involved so much stretching and bending and clambering up steps  - that's my exercise for the day.  Did find some merchants and masons marks, which was very exciting (I do please very easily!).

Love and hugs to all in fluffyworld, but specially if anyone is feeling one or ten degrees under. Cat Very Happyxxx

Helloo fluffies on this lovely sunny day

I have actually got my washing on the line for the first time this year, it is a lovely sunny day with a good blowing wind out there.  Will have to finish it off in the drier but at least it has had a good blow.

Have a great day whatever you are doing xxxx

Re: Progesterone, assorted other hormones and fluffy cake

...& a good evening from me too, lovely fluffies.
Not a lot to report, apart from we re-decorated the living room today & need to sort out the bathroom next, so that's my days off taken care of!
We didn’t have much snow, Helena, but thankfully that Siberian 💨 is now easing.
Love to everybody

Re: Progesterone, assorted other hormones and fluffy cake

Snow report: snow, wot snow?  It's all disappeared now, but not stopping my lazy dayness!

Dizzy, my dentist did know about the jaw thingummybob, but had never seen anyone suffering from it. She did say that it can happen after a tooth is taken out,  and if I ever needed that, she would be aware.  I love my dentist!!!! I followed her when she went into private practice as the NH dentist who took over from her hurt me so badly I had to stop him and wouldn't let him finish. Still makes me wince.

See the source image- wish I'd thought of that!!!!  Cat Winkxxx

Re: Progesterone, assorted other hormones and fluffy cake

Ruby

I'm a bit surprised that health professionals aren't better informed about the side effects of our drugs. There must be hundreds of thousands of women who take them. I told the optician that cataracts are one of the side effects of tamoxifen, and he said he hadn't heard of it. So I checked the leaflet in the box and it's listed under the common side effects. So you'd think the dentist would know about the jaw thing.

Well it's snowing like crazy here, but so far not settling, the outside temperature is 1.5C and falling. Hope you're all keeping warm.

Re: Progesterone, assorted other hormones and fluffy cake

Hello fluffies, well, the world has gone white again - settling snow has arrived. Cat Frustrated  Ruby has settled herself on the bed and that's where she'll stay for the rest of the day - that's a good idea. Think I will find lots of catch up tv and I've got  Outlander 3 to watch.  Hooray.

LadyH, got myself into a right tiz on my first mammo, but it's just big girl pants time and taking a paracetamol or something just in case. It actually shouldn't be anymore hurtful than you would normally find it.  My first one did hurt but only because I'd just had a seroma drained a couple of days before.  The second one was completely fine. I've also just had my 3rd date for end April, so I shall have to listen to myself.

But it does take you down the path that we've already trodden.   I've had the dentist and opticians recently, and on both occasions got into panic mode when they said ' we'll look at the x-rays now'.  I thought, why, what are they going to show me - must be bad news.  Big relief, no it wasn't. Funnily enough I'd asked the opticians about cataracts (s/e exemestane I think), and although need new glasses for long distance, my short sight has actually improved!  Told dentist about s/e of bifossywhatsits (osteocronosis of jaw - which she said she'd never seen and the tablets rarely led to that) and my bone health has also improved.  Soon I'll be supersonic.Cat Winkxxx

Dizzy

Thank you for that my friend xxx

How is your weather.  Have you had any snow yet?  It is incredibly windy and cold here, such a difference from yesterday, thank goodness we did not turn the storage heaters off, told Colin they are staying on now until the end of April.

Re: Progesterone, assorted other hormones and fluffy cake

Oh bless you, Helena. Isnt it funny how the simplest thing suddenly gives you the jitters? But I'm sure once you get it out of the way you'll feel better, it's been a long time for you to wait.

I was really glad mine last year was unscheduled, so I never had a chance to get nervous. And it really wasn't any more uncomfortable, I think it's the thought of all that squishing that's worse.
